Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to Trueclip and its customer video collection, editing, permission, licensing, delivery, and website widget tools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

A customer may also accept submission-specific usage and payment terms. Those signed terms control the permitted use of that customer’s content. If they conflict with these general Terms, the more specific signed terms control for that submission.

Trueclip helps brands invite real customers to submit video, optional written feedback and ratings, record permission, make limited edits, document a direct customer payment, and host licensed media.

Trueclip is a software provider. It is not a bank, escrow service, payment processor, talent agency, advertising platform, or law firm. It does not independently verify that a customer received a reported payment or that an advertisement complies with every law or platform rule.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Keep your Google account secure and provide accurate account and brand information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Do not share invitation links in a deceptive way, impersonate another business, or invite someone you know cannot lawfully provide the requested content or permission.

Customers keep ownership of their recordings, reviews, ratings, and likeness. A customer grants the invited brand only the rights stated in the signed submission terms. Website permission and paid-ad permission are separate choices.

Customers grant Trueclip the limited rights needed to receive, store, process, transcode, display, and deliver their content for the service. Brands grant Trueclip the same limited operational rights for materials they upload, including logos and payment receipts.

When a customer chooses paid-ad use, the brand may make the basic edits described in the signed terms and may activate the stated 12-month, worldwide website and paid-digital-ad license after reporting the agreed direct payment. The license is conditional on the customer receiving that payment and ends on the displayed expiry date.

A brand must not distort a customer’s meaning, fabricate an endorsement, create a synthetic face or voice, resell the content, or use it outside the permission shown in Trueclip. Trueclip’s tools do not expand the customer’s grant.

The brand pays the customer directly using the receiving details the customer provides. Trueclip does not collect, hold, transmit, reverse, or guarantee those funds. A receipt upload records the brand’s declaration; it is not independent proof that funds arrived.

Brands are responsible for payment fees, taxes, exchange rates, reporting, and resolving missing or incorrect payments with the customer. Uploading a video does not guarantee that a brand will license it or pay for ad use.

Brands are responsible for ensuring that testimonials are truthful, not misleading, and supported where required. Any payment, free product, or other material connection must be disclosed clearly when applicable.

You must follow the rules of each advertising platform and all laws that apply to your product, claims, audience, and location. Trueclip does not approve advertisements or provide legal clearance.

You may not use Trueclip to:

• upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious content;
• collect sensitive information you do not need or have authority to collect;
• target or collect recordings from children;
• bypass access controls, probe the service, scrape private content, or disrupt other users; or
• present a preview, rating, review, or customer identity in a misleading way.

Current limits, included usage, storage periods, and license amounts are shown in the product before you act. Trueclip may change future pricing or limits with reasonable notice. Changes do not rewrite an already recorded customer permission or active license.

Unlicensed videos may become unavailable after the advertised free-storage period. Hosted and embedded ad media stops working when its license expires. You should keep any records you independently need and delete content you no longer need.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may remove content that violates these Terms or creates legal, security, or operational risk. The service may occasionally be unavailable, and processing time can vary with file size and third-party infrastructure.

Third-party services such as Google, Vercel, Cloudflare, Resend, and optional transcription providers have their own terms and availability.

To the extent allowed by law, Trueclip is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or results from any video or advertisement.

To the extent allowed by law, Trueclip and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Any direct liability will not exceed the amount you paid Trueclip for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.

You may stop using Trueclip at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or nonpayment owed to Trueclip. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us and give both sides a reasonable chance to resolve it. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
